Ingredients
  • Pressure cooked tur dal - 1cup
  • Grated coconut - 1cup
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 spoon
  • Jeera one pinch
  • Garlic - 2 pods
  • Drumstick plant leaves - 1/2 cup

  • For seasoning:
  • Oil -2 tbspoon
  • Red chilly - 1
  • Mustard seeds - 1 tspoon
  • Curry leaves
  • Cuisine: Cooking time: 30 mins Serving: 5 people

    Method

    1. Grind grated coconut, turmeric powder, jeera and garlic to a fine paste with little water. Add the paste to the cooked dal. Pour required water and boil it for 2 to 3 minutes.
    2. For Seasoning, pour 2 tbspoon oil in a Kadai and when it becomes hot put one red chilly, one spoon mustard and curry leaves. When it is done add cleaned drumstick leaves. When the leaves are soft pour it into the dal curry. Recipes for lunch
