Seasoning:
- 1/2 cabbage
- 1 tbs Urud dal
- 1 tbs chana dal
- 2 red chillies
- 1 tbs raw mango cut into small pieces
- Salt to taste
- Few curry leaves
- 1 green chilly
- 1/4 cup grated coconut
- 1 tsp hing
- 2 tsp oil
Seasoning:

- 1 tsp mustard
- Few curry leaves
- 2 tsp oil
Method :
- Heat the Kadai and pour oil. Add Urud dal, chana dal, red chilly and fry for few minutes. Once it cools grind it into powder and keep aside.
- Boil the cabbage and drain the water. First grind boiled cabbage, green chilly, mango, salt, grated coconut with little water. Then add few curry leaves and hing and give a small turn in the mixie. Now add dry ginger powder and grind it again and mix well.
Seasoning :
Heat the kadai, pour oil. Add red chilly, mustard to the hot oil. When the mustard splutters add few curry leaves. Switch off the flame and pour this seasoning into the chutney and mix well.
Enjoy the chutney with rice as well as idlis.
